Clear about your care

Privacy, explained.

This policy covers the DonePaw Android app and this website.
Published by HTuse · Effective September 18, 2026

At a glance

  • Your tasks, notes and care history are stored locally in the app. We do not run an account service or a cloud-sync backend.
  • The app contains Google AdMob ads. Google may process device, network, advertising and diagnostic data.
  • This website has no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels or contact-form database.
  • Android backup, our web host and your email provider may process information when you use those services.

1. Your care data

DonePaw stores task names, categories, notes, reusable checklists, completion history, repeat rules, reminder and pause choices, earned gifts, and room preferences in local application storage on your Android device.

App code does not send this task content to HTuse or include it in ad requests. There is no account registration or developer-hosted cloud sync. Your care tools work without an internet connection; advertising and some privacy choices require one.

Optional room sounds are bundled with the app and play locally. DonePaw does not record audio or require microphone access for this feature.

2. Advertising and privacy choices

The app uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Depending on the app version, banners appear on Home or across Home, Plan and Stats. An occasional interstitial may appear when leaving Care Ideas, and Miso’s room offers an optional rewarded ad. Native ads are not used.

Google’s ad services may collect and share:

  • IP address, which can indicate approximate location;
  • Device or other identifiers, such as the advertising ID, app set ID and applicable device/account identifiers;
  • App and ad interactions, including views, taps and rewarded-video completion;
  • Diagnostic and performance information.

Google processes this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Its SDK disclosure states that data is encrypted in transit using TLS. DonePaw does not request precise device location, contacts, microphone access or personal files for advertising.

Consent and ad settings

Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) handles applicable consent and privacy messages. Where required, a message appears before ads are requested. When available, you can revisit your choices in Settings → Ads & privacy → Privacy choices.

Ad personalization and availability depend on your choices, location and Google’s configuration. Declining personalization may still allow non-personalized or limited ads. A connection or consent-loading failure does not prevent you from using care features.

Optional rewards

Watching an optional rewarded ad can unlock a bonus room early. The same room can also be earned through care days. The resulting entitlement is saved locally after Google confirms the reward. It is not money, is not sent to a developer rewards server, and is removed by resetting app data.

Test builds

Development and pre-release builds may use Google’s test ads. Test inventory does not earn revenue, but the SDK may still process network and device information. Publisher-configured consent messages apply to the production AdMob configuration.

For Google’s practices and controls, see:

3. Reminders, widgets, backup and sharing

Optional reminders use Android’s notification permission. A home-screen widget displays task information when you add it. Task names in notifications or widgets can be seen by people with access to your device. You can control notification permissions and lock-screen visibility in Android settings.

Android backup and device transfer may copy app data through your device’s configured backup provider. Those services are controlled by Android and your device settings, not by a DonePaw server. A restored backup may include data previously deleted on a device.

Optional file export and restore

In version 1.5.0 and later, you can export tasks, notes, checklists, repeat rules, completion history, preferences and Miso’s progress to a backup file through Android’s file picker. You choose where to save it, which may include a cloud provider you use. DonePaw does not automatically upload this file to HTuse or a developer-hosted server.

The backup contains private care information and is not encrypted by DonePaw. Keep it in a location you trust. When you open a backup, the app shows a preview before you choose to merge it with existing care or replace local data. Your chosen storage provider handles the file under its own privacy policy.

Miso postcards

In version 1.5.0 and later, Miso postcards are created on your device from companion artwork and earned moments. They exclude task names, notes and completion history. A postcard is shared only after you select Share and choose a destination in Android’s share sheet. The receiving app or service handles the image under its own privacy policy. DonePaw keeps a temporary image in its app cache to support this sharing.

4. This website

donepaw.htuse.com is hosted on Hostinger. When you visit, hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, request time and error or security logs to deliver and protect the site.

The site’s own code does not set cookies, run analytics, display ads or use tracking pixels. Fonts, images and scripts are served from this website rather than a third-party font or media service. Hosting-level security and logging are governed by the provider’s services and configuration.

See Hostinger’s Privacy Policy for its practices. Following external links, including Google Play when available, takes you to services with their own privacy policies.

5. When you contact us

If you email support@htuse.com, HTuse receives your email address and anything you choose to include, such as a name, message, device details or attachment. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot problems, handle privacy requests and improve support.

Our email service providers process correspondence to deliver and store messages. Please do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive task information. The Contact page opens your email app or lets you copy the address; it does not submit a web form or upload an attachment to this website.

6. Retention and deletion

On your device

Care data remains until you delete it, reset the app or uninstall it. Deleting a task also deletes its associated local completion history. Archiving a task keeps it for later; it is not deletion.

Use Settings → Reset all data to clear local care data and preferences. Uninstalling removes local app storage. Manage Android backups separately because uninstalling or resetting does not necessarily remove backups. Resetting or uninstalling DonePaw does not delete files you exported or copies of postcards saved or shared with another app. Manage those copies with the storage provider or receiving app.

Support and technical information

We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legitimate recordkeeping, security or legal needs. You can ask us to delete correspondence. Hosting and email providers retain technical records according to their service settings and policies.

Google’s advertising information

Resetting DonePaw does not delete information already processed by Google or reset Google’s consent records. Google determines retention for its advertising services; use its privacy resources and ad controls to manage that information.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You can edit or delete local tasks, pause routines, turn off notifications, remove a widget and manage Android backup. Where supported, Android’s privacy or ad settings let you reset or delete your advertising ID.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

For information held by HTuse, email support@htuse.com. We may need enough information to confirm that a request relates to you. We cannot retrieve care data that exists only on your device. For Google-held information, use Google’s privacy tools or contact Google.

Hosting, email and advertising providers may process data in countries other than your own. Their privacy policies describe applicable transfer arrangements. Where applicable, processing is based on providing the requested service, legitimate interests in support and security, legal obligations, or consent for processing that requires it.

8. Children and intended use

DonePaw is a general productivity app for everyday tasks. We do not operate child accounts or ask users to create profiles. Parents or guardians who believe a child has sent personal information to HTuse can contact us to request appropriate action.

DonePaw is not designed for medical, emergency or time-critical reminders. Android battery and scheduling settings can delay notifications.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app, website or our practices change. The current version will stay available at https://donepaw.htuse.com/privacy-policy, with the effective date shown at the top.
